National Manufacturing Co., Inc. is a supplier of highly engineered, precision, deep drawn, stamped, and machined metal components and assemblies for large OEM customers in the medical, aerospace, defense, battery and oil and gas industries. Founded in Chatham, NJ in 1944 and acquired by Waverly Partners in 1997,  National’s expertise is designing efficient and reliable manufacturing processes to produce metal components and assemblies that consistently meet tight tolerance, customer specifications using stainless steel and exotic, difficult to form, metals including Titanium, Hastelloy, Kovar and Inconel.

 Examples of Customer products utilizing National components include:

Medical: implantable pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac monitors, and neurostimulators, as well as ventilators and drug pumps.

Aerospace: aircraft engines, emergency oxygen generators, cockpit lighting and sensor systems.  

Defense: missile and satellite battery power systems, missile guidance systems, radar systems and military flares.  

Oil and gas: deep water drilling systems.

Process offerings include deep and shallow draw, stamping, machining, welding, assembly, plating, painting, and coating.  This turn-key approach ensures timely delivery, reduced lead times, and consistent quality enabling customers to streamline their supply chain management.

National is ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliant and registered with the U.S. Department of State, qualifications necessary to participate in work related to national security.

Customers include Thomson, Philips, Hitachi, Panasonic and SONY. Delafoil Ohio was founded to support a long-term manufacturing outsourcing agreement with a major worldwide consumer electronics company. Delafoil constructed a 250,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to support the customers' growth and quality needs.
